a+u’s May issue guest edited by Andres Lepik features Francis Kéré

Opening with the earliest work "Gando Primary School" and ending with ongoing construction projects, furniture pieces, and exhibitions, this issue of the Architecture and Urbanism (a+u) magazine presents 34 works of Francis Kéré.

The a+u’s 2022 May issue is guest-edited by Andres Lepik and features Francis Kéré, TUM professor and Berlin-based architect.

In addition to articles by Professor Francis Kéré and guest editor Professor Andres Lepik, three essays by young African architects situate Kéré's work in the broader context of architecture and urbanization in the African continent, invoking issues of translatability, authenticity, justice, community, and empowerment.
