AJA 2026: Panel Discussion
Diskussion |
As part of this year's AJA, a panel discussion will take place on October 8.
Guests:
- Martin Schnitzer (Münchner Forum e.V.)
- Judith Burgerova and Lukas Eibl (03 Arch)
- Michael Bacherl (Hauptabteilung Stadtplanung München)
Debates around the urban landscape are gaining new attention. Questions on identity and beauty are mostly commented on superficially and are often only discussed from specific social perspectives. Ideas of what public spaces should look like are never neutral but reflect social, cultural, and political values. But what actually shapes the identity of our cities today, and who decides how they are designed?
Our guests will discuss what forms of participation exist, who is heard or excluded in these processes, and how interests shape the development of our cities.
Moderated by Mathias Faul (TUM)
The talk will be in German.
