Exhibition: Young Global Women in Architecture – Intersectional and Intercultural Sensitization of the Next Generation of Architects"
June 24 - July 14 2026
The Centre for Urbanisation and Peripheralization (CUSP) and the Chair of Spatial Planning and Development are pleased to host the exhibition Young Global Women in Architecture, developed by humantektur.
The exhibition foregrounds the voices, experiences, and reflections of young women in architecture across different cultural and professional contexts. It asks how architectural education and practice can become more inclusive, more attentive to difference, and more supportive of the next generation shaping the built environment.
Through drawings, statements, and spatial narratives, the exhibition opens a conversation about care, resilience, creativity, intercultural exchange, and the structural challenges faced by young women entering the profession.
The exhibition resonates strongly with CUSP's work on spatial justice, urban transformation, and the social conditions through which architecture and planning are practiced. It also invites us to ask what kinds of professional cultures are needed to support more equitable futures in architecture.
The exhibition will be on view at the Chair of Urban and Spatial Development from 24 June - 14 July 2026.
