Final Review of the Bachelor's and Master's Seminar GREEN TYPOLOGIES: As Time Grows – Experimental Methods for Representing Time at the Professorship of Green Technologies in Landscape Architecture.
About the seminar:
How can time be made visible? This seminar examines how temporal processes can be made visible and tangible in landscape and architectural design. Taking urban wastelands in Munich as a starting point, it considers these spaces as dynamic environments where the traces of growth, transformation and appropriation intertwine.
The focus is on how time can be represented through creative, graphic and spatial forms of expression. Participants will experiment with various methods, ranging from graphic and photographic investigations to serial observations and film- and text-based approaches. The aim is to understand time as both a dimension and a medium for design and cognition.
