PhD Workshop: “ML-Driven Architectural Design: Models, Datasets, and Computational Workflows” by Dr. Guy Austern and Arch. Coral Hamo-Goren as part of the “Machine Learning and Architecture: S/M/L/XL” program.
The workshop introduces researchers and students to the field of machine learning and will cover theoretical foundations, historical development, and core ML concepts, including data analysis, supervised and unsupervised learning, vision models, Generative AI, and language models. The theoretical sessions will be accompanied by a series of hands-on Python exercises, equipping participants with the practical skills needed to integrate machine learning techniques into their own PhD research projects. Basic experience with Python programming is recommended.
