Content
Since the Renaissance, models have played a central role in the planning, conception, and communication of architecture. Even in the age of digital planning, the model remains a versatile tool. Models can be produced in many scales and materials and serve not only in architecture and urban planning, but also in art, design, and science for analysis and education, communication, and representation. This seminar examines the possibilities for the use of models from a transdisciplinary perspective and explores their role in exhibition contexts. The final project consists of designing a book with selected case studies.
