In a slowly adapting architecture discipline, the question arises of whose perspectives are visible and heard in education and practice. The western and male-dominated ideal of the architect as a sole creative author is losing its relevance today. Therefore, new forms of collaboration are emerging, and student initiatives, protests, and forms of self-organization gain influence on the discipline of architecture. But how can a practice foster greater solidarity and reshape architectural identity today?
Our guests will discuss the challenges for young collaboratives, entry-level professionals and higher institutions facing a changing view on our professional demeanor.
