MONTAGSREIHE: Raphael Zuber

Termin, Vortrag |

Raphael Zuber studied architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ) until 2001 and opened his own office in the same year. His work often blends traditional Swiss architecture with modern design principles, resulting in structures that harmonize with their surrounding landscapes. Among his notable projects is the Schoolhouse in Grono, Switzerland. In 2016 he completed his second building, in Domat/Ems. His important projects also include the Ethnographic Museum Neuchâtel, the SUPSI university campus in Mendrisio and the Abdankungshalle in Steinhausen. At the moment, he is working on the Buchenwald indoor swimming pool in Gossau, which will be completed at the end of 2025, and the Black Sea House, among other projects. Raphael Zuber has taught at various architecture schools, including the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, EPF Lausanne and ETH Zurich.

MONTAGSREIHE is a series of lectures at the Department of Architecture of the TUM School of Engineering and Design. The series is intended as an enriching contribution to the Munich architectural discourse between architects, students and architecture enthusiasts.
