Mona Lavasani holds a master’s degree in Architectural Technology from the University of Tehran. She is an experienced computational designer and digital fabricator, with over two years of experience at the Fabrication Lab of the Iran University of Art, where she worked as a researcher, tutor, and fabricator.

Following her graduation, she focused on teaching and organising educational workshops and online courses in collaboration with the Centre of Excellence in Architectural Technology (CEAT) at the University of Tehran. She also served as a lecturer at the Iran University of Art, teaching a course, “Design for Fabrication,” to Master’s students in Interior Design, providing theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the use of digital tools in design and fabrication.

She has experience in parametric design for the 3D printing of clay, ceramic, and concrete using robotic arms and Cartesian systems. Currently, she works as a Research Assistent, focuses on computational form-finding methods for Intrusion Earth Additive Manufacturing.
