Masterthesis
In the combined module "Methodical Development of Research Questions" (Architecture) or "Reflection" (Urban Studies) the master thesis of the next semester is prepared. In dialogue with the whole group, the student's own task is developed. The topic can be chosen freely in consultation with the professor. However, it should be located in one of the research foci "The City in Disaster Mode", "The Cooperative City", "Infrastructures of the New Everyday" and "The Power of Conditions" and have a clear design focus. As a rule, the master's thesis will take place as individual work, but group work is also possible. It is welcomed if master theses relate to current research projects (e.g. in the M-Cube cluster or in the context of the New European Bauhaus), as teaching and research can optimally complement each other here.
