Public Mobility in Urban Transformation

In the interest of sustainable spatial development in metropolitan regions, settlement development and emission-free mobility must be linked even more closely in the future. At the regional level, settlement structure and transport supply must be more closely coordinated. At the neighborhood level, short distances must be strived for through a mix of uses, pedestrian and bicycle-friendly design, as well as new forms of shared, digitally supported mobility in the sense of a “15-minute city”. Such a development ensures accessibility and a high quality of life for residents.

The public lecture series "Public Mobility in Urban Transformation" covers these topics with three expert presentations each semester.

The lecture series is held in German. All lectures will be held at Vorhoelzer Forum (Room 5166). Attention: The elevator can currently only be used to the 4th floor. Please use the stairs from there.
