Stephan Lintner

Prof. Dipl.-Ing., Honorarprofessor der TU München

Prof. Lintner studied architecture at the Technical University of Munich. After graduating in 1985, he worked for several years as a design architect. He completed his traineeship in urban planning at the Free State of Bavaria and graduated in 1989 with the Große Staatsprüfung. After working in various positions, Prof. Lintner became head of the urban planning department at the State Ministry of Housing, Construction and Transport in 2006. In 2005, Prof. Lintner was appointed to the German Academy for Urban and Regional Planning.


Prof. Elisabeth Merk

Architektin, Stadtplanerin, Stadtbaurätin der Stadt München

Prof. Elisabeth Merk studied architecture in Germany and Italy. Between 1995 and 1998 she worked on infrastructure projects for the state capital of Munich and from 1999 to 2000 was responsible for urban design, urban monument preservation and special projects for the city of Regensburg. After serving as head of the urban development and urban planning department of the city of Halle/ Saale between 2000 and 2006, Elisabeth Merk became Munich's city planning councillor in 2007. Since 2009 she has held an honorary professorship at the University of Applied Sciences in Stuttgart.


Christiane Thalgott (former)

Prof. Dr.-Ing. E.h., Honorarprofessorin der TU München

Prof. Thalgott studied architecture at the Technical Universities in Braunschweig and Munich.
After working in the building department of Noderstedt and as a city building councillor of Kassel, she was city building councillor of Munich between 1992 and 2007 and a Honorary Professor at the Technical University Munich from 2003 till 2023.
