Biography

Qendresa Ajeti is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Engineering and Design at the Technical University of Munich. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Prishtina and brings seven years of practical architectural experience in Kosovo to her academic work. 

Her doctoral research examines the Department of Architecture of Kosovo (1978–1999) as a case study in the institutionalization of architectural knowledge and heritage within a socialist and post-socialist context, exploring how pedagogical practices embedded ideological frameworks within professional formation. 

Her broader research interests lie at the intersection of politics, pedagogy, cultural heritage, and spatial governance, with a particular focus on the preservation and contestation of architectural heritage in the Western Balkans. 

She has presented at numerous international conferences and published papers on these topics.
