The best parties take place in the kitchen. And the best talks at the kitchen table. For the 2026 exhibition at Architekturmuseum der TUM, we want to build a kitchen installation in front of the Pinakothek der Moderne and take the CONVIVIUM (lat. banquet, dinner society) out of the museum into the real world. The first phase will start with a small competition to finalize the approval plans, design the details and research for available material. We will draw inspiration from short input lectures. In the second phase, we will salvage the needed materials and build up our own material bank. In the third and final phase, we will be building the kitchen installation according to our plans. It is mandatory for every participant to join the building phase from 23.02.2026 to 06.03.2026.
