Invitation and Call for Passport Pitch: "One Million ______ Passports"

Exhibition, International |

On Thursday, 6 July, between 5 pm and 7 pm, another event will take place in Pavillon 333 as part of the current Rotunda project "One Million German Passports": the Passport Pitch.

The Architekturmuseum der TUM wants to make visible that the range of people living in Germany is diverse and that our society also consists of passport holders from other nations. Many of the people who have fled and migrated to Germany do not necessarily aspire to German citizenship.

Therefore, we are looking for people with a foreign or second nationality who are willing to bring their passport to this event, present it and tell an anecdote, interesting background information, historical fact or personal reference.

The different passports will be assembled into a temporary mosaic on site for the duration of the event in order to visually mirror "One Million German Passports" and reinterpret it as "One Million ____ Passports". The short presentations (= pitches) will be filmed with your consent and assembled into a video installation.

If you are interested in participating, please send a short message with your name and (second) nationality to anmeldung@architekturmuseum.de. You have 2 minutes for the pitch.

If you have a German citizenship, you are of course cordially invited to attend the event as audience!
