Movie Screening - Architectural Performance V/V - presented by the student initiative SOFT - School of Transformation.
Movies:
Dog Apartment by Priit Tender
Pink Flamingos by John Waters
Priit Tender's Dog Apartment opens the evening with a glimpse into isolation, alienation, and the uncanny architectures of everyday life.
John Waters' Pink Flamingos is a declaration of war against good taste, morality, and social order. Living in a trailer on the edge of society, Divine and her entourage reject every norm imposed by the state, the family, and polite society. The film celebrates filth as a form of resistance, a queerness that refuses assimilation and instead embraces chaos, excess, and self-determination. Here, housing becomes camp, identity becomes performance, and the trailer transforms into a site of unapologetic revolt.
„Dog Apartment" will be screened in Estonian with English subtitles. „Pink Flamingos" will be screened in English, with English subtitles.
The event is free of charge.
