The Design Factory combines the infrastructure for researchers and students of the Faculty of Architecture to implement projects and build models and prototypes. The equipment ranges from traditional to computer-controlled machines and is structured in the following workshop areas.
Student workplaces Flexible workstations and a student workshop are available for faculty students.
Craft Our workshops are specialized in wood, plastic and metal processing. Additional facilities such as a spraying / painting room expand the processing possibilities.
Digital Factory In our digital workshop, students and researchers have access to a wide range of manufacturing machines. The Digital Factory enables a closed digital process chain to support the architectural design process from the idea to the 1:1 prototype.
