Paper Presented at the PLEA 2024 Conference on a Systems Approach to Multifunctional Green Streets
Publication, 2024

As part of the PLEA 2024 Conference, our doctoral researcher Julia Micklewright presented a conference paper on 27 June that was developed in collaboration with the Research Training Group “Urban Green Infrastructure.”
The paper presents a system dynamics modelling approach for analysing streets as multifunctional urban spaces. Its objective is to identify key interactions and indicators that support both active mobility and urban biodiversity. The approach also strengthens collaboration across the individual doctoral research projects by qualitatively linking their respective variables, making it possible to better understand and systematically analyse the interdependencies between the different research topics.
