Building Information Modeling

In the interdisciplinary course BIM.fundamentals, the theoretical and practical basics of Building Information Modeling are taught. During the lecture, the technological fundamentals of digital planning tools are introduced and discussed along with issues related to data exchange and data management. In the exercise, students learn how to use tools for digital design, simulation, analysis, and collaboration. This course comprises the necessary knowledge and abilities to participate in the practical course BIM.project that takes place during the winter semester.

The lecture and the exercise take place each Friday during the summer semester.

Lecture: 11:30 - 13:00
Seminar: 13:15 - 14:45
