Optimization and standardization of hemp lime

Optimization and standardization of hemp lime for sustainable and industrial construction applications
The research project explores the potential of hempcrete as a regenerative building material for climate-conscious architecture. The aim is to optimize the material formulation and application techniques in order to meet future building requirements and enable broader practical use. In collaboration with planning and building professionals, the project investigates both the ecological performance and the technical standardization of hempcrete construction systems. A key focus lies in translating research findings into design-relevant strategies and contributing to the development of normative frameworks for biobased materials.
