Öykü Tok, M.A. TUM
Öykü Tok completed her Master in Architecture at the Technical University of Munich in 2023, including exchange semesters at TU Vienna and ETSAS Seville. She gained practical experience in architectural offices such as Staab Architekten and is involved in regenerative material research at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics. In her master's thesis, she investigated the repurposing of waste materials from the glass and porcelain industry in the Oberpfalz region, exploring their potential for circular architectural applications. Since 2024, she has been working as a Research Associate at the Professorship of Architecture and Design at the TUM School of Engineering and Design, where she is also pursuing her doctorate. Her current research focuses on the architectural potential of agricultural byproducts and bioregional strategies for circular construction.
