DOMINIK NOCON
- Research Associate -
Dominik Nocon studied and received his diploma in architecture at the University of applied sciences in Augsburg. After completing his studies, he worked as an architect and project manager in national and international architecture firms in Germany and abroad. During this time, he worked on projects in various fields, e.g., university, office, and educational buildings, as well as buildings in the areas of healthcare, laboratories, hospitals, and residential construction.
In 2020, he and his office partner founded the architecture firm daily space with the aim of enriching everyday environments through architectural interventions, thereby generating added value for society as a whole. This approach is based on a deep understanding of the task at hand, which is why research and information gathering are essential components of a holistic design process. This creates a solid foundation for joint project work. Different positions and perspectives within the team are important and form the basis for open discussion — only in this way can something new be created.
Dominik has been a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects since 2010 and was appointed to the BDA in 2024.
Since 2020, he has been working at the Technical University of Munich — initially at Prof. Florian Musso's chair for Building Construction and Building Materials, and since 2021 at Prof. Francis Kéré's chair for Architectural Design and Participation.
