AI-Supported Design Futuring - Exploring the Future of Work
3 ECTS | Seminar for Master Students

How can AI be used as a creative tool to explore the future of work? This hands-on design expedition invites you to experiment with AI-driven text, image, and video generation tools to envision how the future of work could look like. Through speculative design methods, you will investigate how you can collaborate with AI and how it can support scenario-building, storytelling, and visual representation. Through exploration and critical engagement, you will uncover the possibilities and challenges of AI-assisted creativity. By thoughtfully considering AI’s capabilities and limitations, you will develop a compelling scenario for the future of work, using AI as a tool for creative exploration and futuring. Beyond hands-on experimentation, the course is closely linked to ongoing scientific research.

Workshop Days: Monday 05.05.25 + 12.05.25 10:00-18:00 R.3328
Test Days: Monday 26.05.25 / 02.06.25 / 16.06.25 / 23.06.25 each students will be asked to book a 1-hour timeslot on two of the four days
Final Presentation: Thursday 5.12.24 17:00–19:00 R.3328
