Project Week: Technology-Supported Design Research

Technology-Supported Design Research
6 ECTS | Seminar for Master Students
In this project week, students learn how to leverage technology-supported design research methods for investigating and understanding users’ responses to designed artifacts and environments. In interdisciplinary teams, students will develop research questions, experiment with technological tools (such as heart rate monitors, EEG headsets, eye-tracking, and computer vision AI models), and collect sample data that indicates the emotional states and stress levels of the participants. Prior experience with these technologies is beneficial but not required.
