Daniel Meza M.Sc.

Daniel Meza completed his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2022, with a focus on continuum mechanics. He then pursued the Master's program in Computational Mechanics at the Technical University of Munich, graduating in 2025 as part of the honors track of the Bavarian Graduate School of Computational Engineering.
During his studies, Daniel gained practical experience through an internship at the BMW Group in the field of Generative Design and Manufacturing Engineering during 2024. This collaboration continued into his Master's thesis, where he explored the intersection of computational design and digital fabrication.
Since May 2025, Daniel Meza is a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Professorship of Structural Design at the Technical University of Munich. His research interests include geometry processing, numerical methods, gradient-based optimization, and their application in structural design and manufacturing.
