Feifan He completed his bachelor's degree in civil engineering at Chang'an University, where he showed a very remarkable academic performance from 2016 to 2020. His noteworthy achievements during this time led to various awards and scholarships. Fe graduated his studies with honours. He then completed his Master's degree in Civil Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology and distinguished himself as an outstanding student when he graduated in 2022. During his master's degree, he specialised in the field of structural engineering and focused on FEM analysis (finite element method) and static form-finding methods.

Since October 2022, Feifan He has started his doctoral studies as a PhD student at the Technical University of Munich. His research mainly focuses on form-finding methods for membrane structures and the design of torsionally active structures using graphical statics. This research is made possible by the support of a scholarship from the CSC (China Scholarship Council).
