Lisa Ableitner B.A.

Lisa Ableitner completed her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.A.) at the Technical University of Munich, graduating in 2024 with her thesis titled “Rethinking 3D Extrusion Printing: A Holistic Construction and Connection System for On-Site Assembly,” completed at the Chair of Structural Design. Through this work, she developed a strong interest in digital design methods as well as additive manufacturing processes, which she further deepened during her Master’s studies in Architecture at the Technical University of Munich within the mentorship program “Computational Methods in Architecture” under Prof. D’Acunto, Prof. Auer, Prof. Dörfler, and Prof. Petzold.
In parallel, she gained practical experience as a working student in design and planning at Munich-based architecture firms HENN and H2M Architekten, and was awarded the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship during two funding periods of her Master’s studies.
Alongside working on her Master’s thesis at the Chair of Structural Design, with an expected graduation in October 2026, she has been employed there as a research assistant since May 2026. Her research focuses on the form-finding of load-bearing structures informed by life cycle assessments in early design phases, as well as on 3D extrusion printing processes.
