Public administration is facing major challenges in the face of climate change, but also a changing public. It is important to understand these and to find strategies with which the role of public planning can be strengthened and thus the future viability of the city can be secured. At the core of the research, the field is the work in the PPL (Public Planning Lab), which the professorship conducts annually with young professionals from the public planning administration. This results in various cross-connections to research, teaching, and official practice.
