Post-industrial Alpine Landscape Slovenia (trAILs cooperation)

The coming semester LAI will offer a project in the Alpine region of Slovenia. We will be focussing on the specific problem of post-industrial sites in the Alpine region, which is also a focus area of research at the LAI.

The task will be to develop a transformation concept on different scales with landscape architectural means, addressing, amongst others, questions of ecological restoration and cultural heritage preservation.

The field trip will lead us to Ljubljana and the project site in the Slovenian mountains.
