Mareike Stöber studied at the Restoration, Art Technology and Conservation Science at the Technical University of Munich, focusing on the documentation and preservation of historical buildings. After graduating with a Master of Arts in 2016, she worked as a scientific volunteer at the Bavarian National Museum in Munich. As an independent conservator-restorer, she has been working for collections and in practical building conservation since 2018. Since 2020, she has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Recent Building Heritage Conservation on the architectural history of the Neue Maxburg in Munich and the project »Last Witnesses« Models in Engineering - scientific significance and preservation.
