Edge Profile

Qualification of the outskirts in the southeast of Munich
Bachelor 1. Semester - Winter Term 2020/21
Project Landscape Architecture 1, 14 CP

In the southeast of Munich, between multi-storey housing and a garden city, the high towers of a concrete mixing plant stood until a few years ago and formed the edge of the city to the surrounding landscape with its nature reserves. In the near future, a new residential development is to be built at this junction around a central park that opens up to a green belt. For this transition area, a visionary concept for a new 'edge profile' is needed, which on the one hand gives the city a spatial conclusion and at the same time develop the close landscape area in a future-oriented way.
