NOTE: If you should be interested in writing a dissertation on one of the above or neighbouring topics, please contact Prof. Dr. Udo Weilacher; tel.: 08161 / 71-3249; udo.weilacher[at] However, please keep in mind that excellent knowledge of landscape architecture and related disciplines is a prerequisite for acceptance as a doctoral candidate - especially if you should come from a foreign university. As a rule, preference is given to applicants who have already completed a master's degree at TUM or who are familiar with the research approach at TUM. In any case, please feel free to contact us to arrange a consultation.
