Nanga Parbat Moosach
Redevelopment of the residential environment in München Moosach
Bachelor 2. Semester - SS 2017 (WZ6163)
The residential area in the Nanga-Parbat-Straße in the district München Moosach is representative for many residential areas in Munich. The classic multi-storey residential building, in row development of the 50s - 70s, can be found in many parts of the city. The densification of the quarter through new buildings, in places where this is possible, shows that today there is a very high pressure of use on the areas. This study project uses landscape architectural designs to investigate how this residential quarter can be upgraded by redesigning the open spaces. The aim is to create outdoor spaces that are ecologically effective, aesthetically stimulating and above all socially useful.
